I’m Not That Stupid!

When you get a contract to sing at a birthday party, most people doesn’t do, first you have to find out if that person is a good person, has a good reputation in the community. Forget about how much money that person gives! If that person is working with the mob, or have any unquestionable reputation. It’s best to NOT deliver your services, right? Well, Jennifer Lopez only interest is getting paid, and then play the innocent victim that don’t know a clue about. She performed a “Happy Birthday” song to a Turkmenistan leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow which has a background of the most repressive in the world since 2006 by the Human Rights Watch.

Her words, “I didn’t know.”  Ok, this is what it doesn’t sounds right. If she didn’t know, and found out a couple of days, doesn’t suppose she gives the check back? Nope!

“Lopez obviously has the right to earn a living performing for the dictator of her choice and his circle of cronies, but her actions utterly destroy the carefully-crafted message she has cultivated with her prior involvement with Amnesty International’s programs in Mexico aimed at curbing violence against women,” Thor Halvorssen, president of the Human Rights Foundation. “What is the next stop on her tour, Syria? The dictator of Kazakhstan’s birthday is July 6, maybe she will also pay him a visit?”

It’s all about supply and demand, not common sense and integrity, even if you’re a “celebrity”. Still, didn’t say how much Mr. Berdimuhamedow paid her and if she used that money she suppose to return it, not on giving her boy toy some wheels.  Seriously, she’s gonna fall!
